Heritage Christian seeks Teacher’s to add to our insightful and faithful teaching staff. Along with planning and organizing lesson plans, our teachers creatively infuse a biblically based, faith-integrated curriculum that helps guide, mentor, and develop students both spiritually and academically. The ideal candidates should have 1-5+ years of classroom teaching experience in the applicable subject. This role could potentially teach AP classes. Prior experience working in a Christian school environment is a plus. As a Teacher at Heritage Christian School, the candidate should be a follower of Jesus Christ, work collaboratively with co-workers, and exhibit a servant’s heart.

Educational Therapist

Heritage Christian seeks Educational Therapists to join our passionate Academic Support Center team. This ten-month therapy position involves providing individualized educational therapy to students with diagnosed learning disabilities using research-based methods through the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD). Educational Therapists are responsible to the Academic Support Center Director and campus principal and are recommended by administration to the Head of Education for approval.
Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, obtain and maintain certification through the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD), and maintain or be willing to pursue ACSI Teacher Certification. The ideal candidate has a heart for children, a calling to work with students who have learning differences, and a commitment to Christian education. As an Educational Therapist at Heritage Christian School, candidates should be born-again Christians who regularly attend a church in agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and exhibit a servant’s heart in all they do.
Academic Support Teacher
Heritage Christian seeks an Academic Support Teacher to join our passionate Academic Support Center team. This role involves providing individualized academic support through structured therapy sessions, employing research-based instructional methods, and fostering growth in students with diagnosed learning needs. The ideal candidate has experience working with children who have learning disabilities, demonstrates a love for students, and collaborates well with teachers and families. A Bachelor’s degree, prior NILD training, and ACSI certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred. As an Academic Support Teacher at Heritage Christian School, candidates should be followers of Jesus Christ, regularly attend church, and exhibit a servant’s heart in their calling to Christian education.
Van/Bus Driver & Transportation Assistant
Heritage Christian School is hiring a dependable Van/Bus Driver & Transportation Assistant to safely transport students to school events, athletics, and activities while supporting the Transportation Department with scheduling, vehicle care, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Class A or B license with passenger endorsement & bus certification (or willingness to obtain)
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication skills; calm under pressure
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-focused
- Born-again Christian in agreement with HCS Statement of Faith

Armed Security Guard
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to always remain alert and proactive
- Calming demeanor
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Well organized
- Routinely practice sound judgment
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task with projects of varying degrees of priority
- Be highly self-motivated and work well alone as well as with a team.
Position Requires
- At least two years skilled experience as an Armed Security Officer
- Firearm experience & consistent marksmanship training
- A willingness to actively respond to serious threats on campus. Not an “observe and report” position.
- Knowledgeable with computers and aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems
- Certification in first aid, CPR or ability to obtain certification upon hiring
- A valid BSIS Guard Card & Exposed Firearms Permit are required at the time of application. OC & Baton permits are highly encouraged, but not required. Please upload all permits in the document section of your application.

These forms are used to comply with Megan’s Law and volunteers are screened on the Internet through the Office of the Attorney General, State of California Department of Justice.
